After some initial frustrations, we hope our private beta testers are finding the site much more responsive this week - the speed should now be pretty seamless except for the occasional hour. This occurs when all the data which our development team have been refining, changing and adding is transferred en masse to the front end website.

We’re working on ways to reduce the impact of these surges on the users, and these should be in place within the next week. So if you do make a search and it’s taking a while, please be patient and come back a bit later, secure in the knowledge that it’s a temporary slow-down to let all that lovely data flood in - it shouldn’t take long and should only happen occasionally.

Also now the holidays are coming to a damp grey halt the team will be at full lusty strength so it’s all hands on deck the good ship Locate! Hussah!
