I’ve had a few. Don’t even mention the boy from San Paolo.
Anyway, LocateTV will be of genuine help to those who, like me, suffer from a particular kind of bizarre TV snobbery. Case in point: the recent fuss about the end-of-The-Sopranos tragedy. I took a characteristically disdainful stance. Ah, look at all you mugs of the media hype factory. I’m not interested. Never seen an episode. Got better things to do. Off to San Paolo, in fact.
Obviously I am secretly dying to watch it, but by the time I’d picked up on it all the characters and plots were long-established and complex. And the more everyone told me I had to watch it, the more I got all superior and defensive and claimed I was too busy watching French art house shorts in a cloud of Gauloise smoke.
West Wing, Heroes, Entourage, Deadwood, Life on Mars… you name it, I’ve regretted it. Of course, LocateTV can find out where and when The Sopranos is being repeated for a bit of secretive binge-watching. And yes, Locate has also told me where to buy the box set cheaply, but somehow that would be more like admitting that I was wrong.
