It’s official: we’re nice

Media pioneer and all-round web entertainment guru Vlad Lodinski has posted a great article about LocateTV on his mediavladski blog. As an expert in his field, it’s great to know that he sees Locate as really filling a gap in the market:

He’s already let us know that he thinks searching by genre to be an essential feature if the site is to flourish - and it is indeed a high priority. We know that keyword, rather than just title/actor search, will really strengthen the whole LocateTV experience.
Some other private beta users have also been commenting on how useful it would be if producers tagged their programmes more thoroughly, so search engines such as ours could access metadata about the actual content, even dialogue, of the shows. We can only hope this happens as studios become more aware of just how essential web location and distribution of their offerings is already becoming.
On a personal note, I am very pleased to see that he mentions ‘the nice lady’ from LocateTV. Wahahaha, I have you all fooled.
