“LocateTV is superior because it takes advantage of many features the internet has to offer.”

“All components are integrated with ease of use in mind.”

A walk down memory lane

Hopefully by now you will have noticed we recently made some major changes to the LocateTV homepage to make it easier to use and highlight some of the great features we have on the site, such as What’s On TV, My Picks and the new Seasons Starting This Week.

For those who haven’t seen it, here is a quick snapshot

LocateTV Homepage August 2008

Feeling all nostalgic I thought I’d use the Internet Archive to take a look at the homepage as it looked back in November 2007 (shortly after we launched into public BETA)…

LocateTV Homepage November 2007

OK, so a few things have stayed the same, the search box, the logo, etc. Gone are the green links (in favor of blue links to aid readability) and the big blocks for the top searches (or “tombstones” as we used to call them). We now have a splash more color to brighten up the page, but have tried to keep a simple and clean design.

We’re really proud of our new homepage… let us know what you think about the changes we’ve made.
